Esta figura de la marca Mproyec modelada por el MAESTRO
Raul Garcia Latorre me enamoró desde el primer momento que la vi y
no me pude contener en comprarla. Nada mas llegar a casa, la monté
en su peana, reconstruyendo en ello gran parte del suelo, la sección
baja de la espalda y los dos brazos de tal manera que llegaran al
borde de la peana. Además, se me ocurrió poner una espada de estilo
orco en el suelo y sobresaliendo de la peana (copiada de los Uruk Hai
de el señor de los anillos). Para toda la modificación usé masilla
bicomponente de la marca Feroca. La pintura ha sido realizada
enteramente en acrílicos y algo de pigmentos para representar el
polvo. Todas las partes metálicas son echas en metal no metálico
jugando con texturas, óxidos y distintos tipos de metal. Sobre la
pintura en general, me ha sucedido algo que nunca me había pasado,
“amar y odiar” al escultor a partes iguales, la figura tiene un
modelado espectacular con una gran tensión y fuerza, pero ello junto
al detalladísimo modelado hace que en ocasiones sea muy complicado
que todo funcione y encontrar el equilibrio entre la representación
del volumen en general y en concreto. Una figura que recomiendo tener
a todo el mundo en su colección aunque abordarla con calma,
tranquilidad y perseverancia. Las pinturas usadas han sido
mayoritariamente con acrílicos de Scale Colours, algo de Vallejo,
Citadel y Andrea. ¡Espero que os guste!

That figure from Mproyec
brand sculpted by the MASTER Raul Garcia Latorre get my atention
since the first moment it apeared and i could not resist to bought
it. when it arrives home i prepared the whole mini and done the base,
reconstructing great part of it, modeling a section of the back and
the two arms to get fit with the pedestal. I added and orkish sword
to put init on the ground and a little part getting off the surface
of the pedestal (to it i've copied the Uruk Hai swords seen in the
lord of the rings). For the modification i've used Feroca's
bicomponent putty. The painting has been done entirely in acrylics
and some pure pigments to represent the dust. All the metal parts has
been painted in non metalic metal playing with textures, rust, and so
many diferent metal types. About the general painting, in that
something strange has happend to me, to “love and hate” the
sculptor, the figure has a so great modeled with a great tension and
strenght, for than and the minicious sculture makes sometime a lot
difficult that all works and to find the balance between general and
specific volumes. I recomend that figure to all, it has to be in your
collection, but, when you want to paint it, take the process with
calm, patience and perseverance. The paints used on it has been from
Scale Colour range the most, and Vallejo, Citadel and Andrea
sometimes. Hope you like it!
