Durante el concurso de Almogávares de
Barcelona que se celebró los días 21, 22 y 23 de noviembre tuve la
ocasión de hablar con los chicos de Scale 75 y surgió la
posibilidad de que me mandaran una muestra del material para que les
diera mi opinión y las probara bajo mi pincel. Esta mañana el
cartero me ha dejado un paquete y cual ha sido mi sorpresa al abrirlo
que era la susodicha muestra.
In the Almogavars contest in Barcelona
which was held in 21, 22 and 23 of november i had the chance to cheat
with the Scale 75 guys and appeared the option to send me a test of
the material to give them my opinion and try it under my brush. Today
morning the postman let me a box and what has been my surprise when
i've opened the box, two minis were waiting inside.
La primera impresión, aun sin haberlas
sacado de la bolsa, ha sido: ¡Menudo tamaño! Una vez abierta la
bolsa aun ha mejorado esa sensación. La calidad del material es muy
buena, una resina gris, con un color homogéneo, una textura
estupenda, ni blanda tipo el “Fine Cast” por todos conocido ni
excesivamente dura y por ende quebradiza. Lineas de molde, las hay,
como es normal en todo proceso de moldeado pero todas ellas son
mínimas, quitando de algún pequeño bebedero eliminable sin mucho
esfuerzo ni dificultad, ademas todas ellas pasan por zonas planas y
no se cargan detalle, y, mucho menos escalones. Burbujas, ni una. Así
que estoy contentísimo con el material en general. El despiece me
parece muy correcto, quizá para wargame un poco numeroso ya que lo
que se acostumbra a ver es mas bien minis mono-bloque, pero los
encajes son muy buenos y con un poco de maña se pueden poner unos
pernos que unidos al poco peso de las figuras las hagan
indestructibles.
The first impresion, didn't take of the
box yet, has been: What a size! When i have inspectioned more closely
the content of the boxes my feeling was beter. The quality of the
material is awesome, a grey resin with an uniform colour, a great
texture not as soft as “Fine Cast” well known for all and not too
hard and breakable. Mould lines, there are some, normal thing in a
moulding process but all are minimal, except few resin entries that
are easily remobable, and all are in flat surfaces where you can
eliminate without destroying any detail. Bubles, no one. I am so
stisfied with the material. The quantity of the diferent parts are so
correct and the cuts are easy to glue, maybe there are so many parts
for wargaming because we are more used to unipart figures, but as i
say the unions are well done and with a little pins added to the
light materialwill make your models indestroyables.
Después del análisis del material, me
he puesto a montarlas con un poquito de blue tack, y debo decir que
una vez unidas las diferentes partes crean unas miniaturas asombrosas
que solo me dan ganas de montarlas ya y empezarlas a pintar. La
altura de ambas esta en torno de los 40mm, lo que hace un tamaño muy bueno ya que es un pelín
mas grande que lo que estamos acostumbrados y algo mas pequeño que
escalas ya fuera del wargame.
After the material analisis, i've
mounted them with little blue tack's bits and i have to admit that
when you mount the figures with i'ts different parts a great
miniature appears, i only want to paint them!!! The height is around
the 40mm. That size is
wanderful because the minis are higher than what we are used to and
smaller than wht other scales out of the wargames.
En definitiva, un gran producto que
hará las delicias de todos los modelistas, jugones y cualquier
amante del wargame en general, os lo recomiendo enormemente. Visitad
su campaña de mecenazgo y aprovechad estos tres últimos días de
campaña para realizar vuestras donaciones o aumentos en la cantidad
de estas.
I want to end saying that this product
will be enjoyed by all the modellers, players and any wargame
enthusiast, i recomend you all. Take a look to their campaing and in
