Piloto O-Yoroi / O-Yoroi Pilot

That figure from the spanish Corbus Belli for their game Infinity made a great impact to me when it was released. First because it belongs to a new brand, Bootleg, more thought to paint expose than to play, and counting with the great quality of the models made by Infinity you can not think in other quality as the has. All the Bootleg references like me (I was lucky because they were released for my birthday month ;-) ). As I've said that like me specially, the little japanese i a beautifull model, with a sexy pose, grating the Pin Up style, and all rounded by the cold of the robot she drives. An exceptional coctel: design, sculpture, quality... A really enjoy.
For my approach, at the beggining, i have to admit that i didn´t know where to place de figure, because it has a "cut" which deletes a great part of the robot, for me, a good thing because in that way,the important thing is the pilot and doing that all the atention gos to her. All was solved after watching the great film "Pacific Rim" by Guillermo del Toro. All of that amount of shutterdomes, robots, suits, lights, shines, colours... Then, i decided to put the figure into a shutterdome, making a platform which is at the height of the cut, with that i delete the problem i've had. The rest was only to enjoy the awesome sculpture made by my good friend José Luis Roig, where, as you could see, that the opening sistem of the robot is done perfectly, and if it was real, it works properly. Congratulations to Infinity, for their quality, for their ideas, for their product, for their sculptors, for their treatment, for all!!!

The enviroent has been done with Plasticard, wire and putty (greenstuff and feroca. The whole piece has been painted in acrilics. Hope you like it!!!
