That figure is comercialitzated by Heroes & Villaind in their bust line, it is magnificently sculpted by Pedro Fernández.
With that mini I have had different senses tan which i uasually had with minis that fill be painted for me, the first time i saw it it the net, it didn't catch my eye, it was a correct sculpture, but maybe the color i saw of the box art don't like me. After some days i had the opportunity to se it "in flesh" in the Zaragoza's model show and principally after to saw the review and the casting it pases from the list of never buy to the must have.
As usually, when i was ready to paint it (some moths after i bought it) i didn't know how to paint it because all the versions i've had in mind were already done by other painters. The only thing i had clear was that the norman helmet will be which i'll had been used. Then i take my Osprey books and in one of them i find an illustration, which a piece of it serves to head that entry, in it a group of German knights who were from the cristian provission unit who were ambushed at the damasc gates on the 27th of July 1148. In it is represented a knight with the mentioned helmet and next to him another knight who has a uncomon (for me) heraldry that were my primary inspiration for the figure. I have to say that i'd cut the nasal protector, whith that i change a Little the mini and show the personalitzation who some do on their equipment, and doing that too, i uncappe the face.

The figure has been painted entirely in acrilics. Hope you like it!!!
