Mi participación en AMT Torrent 2013 / My participation in AMT Torrent 2013

Este pasado fin de semana ha tenido lugar en un pueblo cerca de Valencia, la decimonovena edición del concurso AMT Torrent. Yo presenté doce piezas de marcas y temáticas muy variadas desde históricas como Art Girona y Latorre Models; a fantasía con Games Workshop, Martin’s Miniatures, Tiny Tales Studio, Tale of War, Knight Models y Nocturna Models. Hasta presenté mi pequeñísima Atenea de creación propia en 11mm.

Fui laureado con dos premios, una medalla de bronce y una de plata.

La medalla de bronce, me fue otorgada al Filippo II de Art Girona en la categoría histórico master.

La medalla de plata me fue otorgada a “El descanso del enano” en la categoría fantasía master. Una escenita con la pieza “Derkin” de la marca nocturna en 30mm. Con este premio estoy doblemente contento ya que es un encargo de un amigo para hacerle un buen regalo a un familiar que es un friki de pro. ¡Que la disfrutes en tu vitrina!

That past weekend I’ve assisted to a contest near Valencia, the 19th edition of the AMT Torrent. I presented twelve pieces from some different brands and topics. Historical miniatures from Art Girona or Latorre models and Fantasy models from Games Workshop, Martin’s Miniatures, Tiny Tales Studio, Tale of War, Knight Models and Nocturna Models. I’ve presented a small Athena modelled by myself in 11mm.

I was awarded with two prizes, one bronze medal and one silver medal.

The bronze medal was for the Art Girona’s Filippos II in the historical master category.

The silver medal was for “The rest of the dwarf” in the fantasy master category. A scene made with the “Derkin” from Nocturna Models in 30mm. With that prize I’m so happy because it is a commission work from a friend to do a good present to a relative, who is a real freak. Enjoy it in your cabinet!

Mis figuras en revistas / My figures in magazines

Algunas de mis miniaturas han aparecido en dos revistas más:

La primera ha sido la francesa Figurines nº 101, en la cual aparecen tanto el Asesino del Rialto, el Barbero y la criatura Morgraur-Rashaar (nº 83, 109 y 110 respectivamente). Todas ellas se pueden ver en la sección de novedades de fantasía (aunque pone pintadas por Fernando Ruiz, un pequeño error ;) ).

También en esta misma, en el reportaje sobre El Soldat de Plom 2012 está mi Filippo II (nº 24 en la imagen), que aunque no obtuvo premio, supongo que les gusto a los miembros del equipo de la publicación.

En Game Forces nº 29 aparece un articulo de como abordé el pintado de la próxima novedad de Carnevale, Ladrona de Guante en blanco.

En este mismo número hay una entrevista echa a los chicos de Vesper-on donde, como mínimo, aparece la bruja Baba Yaga de próxima aparición en el mercado.

Some of my miniatures have appeared in two more magazines:

The first one has been the French Figurines nº 101, in which appeared the Rialto’s Assassin, the Barber and Morgraur Rashaar beast (nº 83, 109 and 110 respectively). All of them are shown in the fantasy news section (they seem to be painted by Fernando Ruiz, a little error ;) )

In that magazine too, in the 2012 Girona Show reportage, appears my Fillipos II (nº 24 in the picture), which did not get an award, but it seems that some of the publication members like it.

In Game Forces nº 29, you can read the step by step of the new Carnevale’s miniature, the White collar thief.

In that number, there is an interview made to the Vesper-on guys where you can se at least the Baba Yaga witch, which has to appear as a new of their brand.

Entrevista y paso a paso en E5D / Interview and step by Step in E5D

Como os comente en mi última publicación, ayer, día 1-4-2013, salió el fancine del blog El Quinto Destino, E5D Webzine. Aun no está al 100% ya que hay algún fallo de maquetación, pero los chicos responsables no han querido dejar al aire su cita con todos los amantes al modelismo y wargames. En breve publicarán una versión 2.0 mejorada. Os dejo el link a su página donde os podréis descargar el número 17 de su revista.

As I have commented in my last publication, yesterday, 4-1-2012, the El Quinto Destino blog’s fancine, E5D Webzine, has been launched. It is not finished at 100% because there are some little mistake, but the responsible guys didn’t want to let in the ice their date with all the modelling lovers. In short they will launch an improved 2.0 version. I let you a link to their web page where you could download the 17^th magazine.
